FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Chilcote Company Provides $10,000 for Hurricane Relief to Habitat for Humanity

Cleveland, Ohio, Oct. 21, 2005 — The Chilcote Company announced today that it has made a contribution of $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity in Houston, Texas in support of its efforts to provide relief for displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina.  The announcement was made as part of Chilcote’s annual employee-owner recognition day which also kicked-off its 100 Year Anniversary by launching a new logo and tagline – Celebrating Our First Hundred Years – and a 15-month long series of company recognitions, participations and events.

David L. Hein, Chilcote’s Chairman and CEO added, “Houston Habitat for Humanity plans to build 50 permanent, single-family homes strictly for those who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina and who plan to remain in Houston. This Katrina initiative has been dubbed “Operation Love Thy Neighbor: Building Homes for New Houstonians.”   The Chilcote Company chose this organization on behalf of our employee owners, because we believe in the power and value of each and every person and wanted to directly help the victims of this disaster.”

President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity, Laurence J. Payne stated, “While 50 homes for 50 families is a small number compared to the thousands impacted by this terrible disaster, it is a start. Habitat homeownership has been shown to effect long-term change in families’ lives. This is exactly what the Katrina victims need so desperately and we hope our efforts will encourage other entities to help provide long-term, life-changing solutions to our friends and neighbors who lost everything to Hurricane Katrina.”

The Chilcote Company, the parent company of photography industry brands such as Taprell Loomis (TAP), Topflight Albums, Flora Professional Albums, Wooden Nickel Albums, Crown Photo Products, Western Photographic Supplies, Winthrop Products, Complements Scrapbooks, and Culver Art & Frame, is providing the contribution on behalf of its employee-owners, facilities and distributors nationwide.

Founded in October of 1906, The Chilcote Company has grown to become a national manufacturer and distributor of photographic presentation and merchandising products and services to both retail and professional markets throughout the nation and internationally. Principal products include photographic mounts, albums and folios as well as presentation folders and promotional calendars.
